Forgiveness: The First Step to World Peace

February 19, 2011

Children of the Earth’s International Program Coordinator, Karoline Buys spoke on the topic of "Forgiveness: The First Step to World Peace" last month at the groundbreaking Leaders Causing Leaders Conference and Youth Program held in Los Angeles, California.  The conference, which took place November 6 - 7th, was designed to speed the pace of change, inspiring leadership and empowering people to catalyze transformation across the areas business, spirituality, media, human rights, the environment and finance.

Speaking from her own experience about the process of forgiveness, Buys instructed her audience in practical techniques to achieve forgiveness in their own lives.  She emphasized the importance of humbleness, faith and trust, and how we all can manifest miracles in our lives.  Buys spoke about her work with "Children of the Earth" and the inspiring work of our Hubs and Chapters.  She shared the insight that we can make a difference through the Power of our own thoughts and described the experiments of Masaru Emoto.

In experiments relating two very different messages to water, "Thank you" and "You Fool,"  Masaru Emoto has documented stunning positive and negative developments which reflect the messages.  According to the Masaru Emoto website, the "Messages from Water" program first educates children that they themselves are 70% water, then helps them understand—through sharing the results of the experiments—how we should treat others.

Buys said she welcomed the opportunity to inspire young people to make a difference in their lives, "To forgive within their hearts so as to experience inner peace and manifest outer peace in the world, to show the great potential we all have within ourselves."

The conference enabled Buys to speak before an audience of 700 individuals, with a broadcast of her presentation reaching into Mexico on Radio Program Live to Mexico.
