Generation Waking Up Training & Retreat

Children of the Earth's Kelly Ramer attended the inaugural Generation Waking Up training/retreat, held at Vagabond Ranch in Colorado, U.S.A.

The focus of this event was to train youth to facilitate a ‘Wake Up’ ~ a more open-source and youth centered version of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium. This is a three hour multi-media group process designed to help ignite a generation to build a more sustainable, just, and thriving world.

Part of the focus of the program is to show that global transformational change must happen on all these levels, that if we do not have planetary justice we will not have social justice, if we are not thriving spiritually and emotionally we cannot achieve a sustainable or just world. This holistic worldview is akin to COE's approach and mission. It is a very useful tool that can be used at future Children of the Earth and Spirit Youth gatherings.
