The Rose Movement for World Peace

January 23, 2011

So often the fear stands in the way of our deep desire to connect, this is painfully evident in zones of conflict and tension, such as the one that lies between Nepal and India. However small gestures can become large in their meaning when passed with deep intentions of love and peace. This is the essence that runs through the Rose Movement. The simple act of exchanging kind wishes with a rose across lines of division can be the first step in a powerful journey towards harmonious existence and even reconciliation!

Sushil Koirala has been a member of the Children Of the Earth family with the World Spirit Youth Council since the beginning and has taken his passions for creating a more peaceful world in to the areas of conflict in his native Nepal as well as in Manila with the message of the Rose Movement. Petal by petal, personal connection by personal connection, we can build a better world.
