June 29, 2014

On May 14th, Sri Tathāta, a great Vedic master from India on his first visit to New York, came to the UN for Wesak. Sri Tathāta spoke about his Divine mission to bring to Earth the light that heralds a new era of peace according to the Dharma.

Sri Tathāta spoke through a translator; he said how necessary it was that all those having an awaken consciousness should contribute to the coming of a better world and this by using their power of intention especially in group and at special times of connection with higher energies.

The talk was followed by a meditation that took place for about 20 minutes precisely at the peak time of the May full moon, called Buddha Purnima in India, and Wesak by many people: 3:16 pm New York time.

Just as the group was leaving the UN and waiting for Sri Tathata’s car, something unexpected happened. The policemen began to close the First Avenue to traffic. After some time we saw a number of police cars passing then a full automotive procession including two limos. It turned out President Obama was passing through at the same time.
