International Day of Peace, Argentina 2011

On the 21st of September 2011, Paula Alonso, COE Chapter Leader in Argentina, celebrated the International day of Peace at school with all her students. The students were happy to find out that on the same day, that "Spring Day" and "Student Day" is celebrated in Argentina, the International Day of Peace is celebrated all over the world. She had the opportunity to introduce "The COE's Peace Declaration" to them and together they reflected upon the ideas and  wished that in Argentina they would  talk about such important topics more often!

The students made posters with their own messages on Peace and decorated the school walls. They also made bracelets with a "Peace Message" written on them which they offered to teachers and other classmates. At the end of the day, It was wonderful to see everyone at the school wearing a "Peace Bracelet" on their wrist!
