Peacekeeper Training with the Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo
On December 3rd, the COE Vermont Chapter traveled to the Sunray Peace Village for a powerful day of peacekeeper trainings from the Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo. As this gathering marked the end of a cycle of her last personal teachings, the event pulsed with comradery, curiosity and serenity. With a rare opportunity to align with one’s life purpose with a strong guiding figure, peacekeepers learned to “perceive the patterns of mind-emotion and to clarify the stream, that our actions may bring abundance and harmony for all beings”.
Chief of the Green Mountain Band of the Ani Yunwiwa, Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo teaches how one can transform themselves over time by pacifying and purifying emotional states through meditation. The Peacekeeper Mission fulfills its purpose through individual and group study, training and practice to develop four fundamental qualities of mind: Mindfulness, Peacekeeper Consciousness, Caretaker Mind, and Continuity of Mind (http://www.sunray.org/).
