Diane DeTerra, Ph.D.

Director

A development anthropologist, Diane has extensive experience leading economic, social and cultural development projects in Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. She is the former Dean of the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, (Monterey Institute of International Studies), a Fullbright scholar and graduate of the Ecole de traduction et d’interpretation, (University of Geneva). As a Buddist practioner, with a MSc in Medical Qigong, the experience of selflessness provides insights for enlightened social action based on responsibility for self and others and generosity as the root of evolutionary progress.
