The Toolkit, authored by Children of the Earth youth, Corina Simon, was born out of the desires of the organizers of the youth project European Consciousness Through Peace Actions  to share their learning and support the intentions of some participants to carry forward the methods with other groups of youth in their communities. More broadly the toolkit is targeted for European youth facilitators, educators and trainers.

On the 13th of November 2011, Mark Conrad and Christian Marx (Chapter Leaders in the Philippines) went on another M.A.D adventure together with 19 passionate youth volunteers. After 2 hours journey, a boat ride, hiking and crossing 2 rivers on their bare feet, they all arrived at a remote village called Sapang Munti carrying 40 sets of school supplies and materials for the children in the community. Last week I, Reto Biedermann, helped lead a Christian church camp in Zermatt, Switzerland. We were 4 leaders, 2 cooks and 30 amazing children in the age of 13.
